Successful optimisation of logistics processes thanks to modern network infrastructure
For a customer site with a challenging WLAN situation in logistics, we replaced the existing, heterogeneous infrastructure with a high-performance, cloud-based solution. The goal: a stable, scalable and manufacturer-consistent LAN/WLAN infrastructure – with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
After a comprehensive analysis, we opted for Extreme Networks Cloud IQ with WiFi 6 access points and modern switches from the 5320 series. A total of 22 APs were strategically installed in the logistics and office areas. The migration went smoothly: old components out, new ones in – without disrupting the logistics processes.
The result: stable communication for handhelds and office tools such as MS Teams & Zoom – and finally a network that can keep up with the demands of logistics.
